Re: Whither Echoplex?

Some of you may be interested in this. ;-)

By the way, some of you don't seem to realize that the echoplex developers
are right here on the list. You don't need to wait until NAMM to ask us
questions. Just ask same as you always have. I answer when I have time.
(not much lately...)

Also, to dispel some of the rampant confusion going on yesterday (for what,
the 9th time? we seem to be in an echoplex rumor loop... :-), the echoplex
being produced by Trace is not a "new" echoplex. It is just the continued
production of the Echoplex. All they did was move the production to a new
facility, where it will enjoy much better quality and attention. Think of
the last 9 months as a "leave of absence", and now it is back!

Also, Aurisis is working on the next major software version for the
Echoplex, which will run on the same hardware. This has nothing to do with
the production schedules at Trace/Gibson, and is unrelated to developments
there, good or bad. We're not done, so you won't see it at NAMM. (as Claude
should know, of anybody....;-)

cheers,
kim
