i think so.
'perfect specificity', as regards language, seems -(at least)- both in the 
mouth of the speaker and the ear of the hearer.
sometimes, 'creative' (ie, personal, or idiosyncratic) abuse of the spoken 
word can be the quickering path for the transmission of intention.....
