I bought mine in 2001 at that price, too.  It's now selling for $250!!!!  A
friend told me about it.  He liked using mine and was quite surprised to 
find it
at the new, lower price.  BTW, that's 8 mic ins plus four stereo channels, 
for
those not in the know on that one.
