I'm using the FCB1010/Repeater, but not for multiple commands, so this 
isn't
a first-hand observation:

Repeater seems to have to "digest" some commands by showing "NOT READY" on
display...could it be that sending it certain multiples under certain
conditions are an over-load?  Maybe the "crash" is the next step beyond 
"NOT
READY?"
