Probably not the answer you're looking for, but Logic Pro 7 has a good 
guitar amp simulator built in it. It does cost a lot, but in one fell 
swoop you've covered amp/cab sims, several excellent soft synths, IR 
and "traditional" reverbs, a healthy supplu of plug-ins, sequencing and 
multitracking. When you factor in all that other stuff the $1000 price 
tag doesn't seem so bad. Unless, of course, you've met all these other 
needs already.
