Re: tough Beantown crowds

Two places where people make money in music these days are, 1.Dance
parties which used to be called raves ,in which people rent halls do
publicity and mostly hire DJS who work cheaper than bands, except for a few
bands trying to get a foot in the door by playing for even less than DJs.
But such bands tend to do well if they're any good. If you haven't checked
out the Rave/Danceparty/electronica scene- it can be a good potential
audience, depending on what yuou do of course.
2 The jam band scene where people actually listen to the music.
