Re: LD CD Vol.3 project

A thought:
Rather than base the content of LD CD Vol. 3 on a mere "I was first on
line" basis, why not allow another fifteen contributors and give Sunao the
unenviable task of choosing amongst the contributions? I'd suggest a focus
on 1) A variety of contributions, and 2) Contributions that contrast with
what's on Vols. 1 and 2. I would happily give up my slot on Vol. 3 if
someone else did substantially the same thing as me, only better. What I
wish for LD CD 3 is to turn more people onto the looping universe, not to
promote my product. (I just happen to believe that I have a different spin
on looping that *will* turn more onto our joyous world. But y'know, if
someone else just happens to do the same thing better, let them have the
slot.)
Sunao (and co-loopers), please let us know what you think. I totally
respect your wishes and your approach to this project because you initiated
it and are doing all the hard work of creating it. But perhaps choosing
amongst a pool of contributors (instead of who happened to be at their
computers during the first rush of submissions) might raise the quality of
the final product.
dB, coyote
