Re: just out of reach

yes its true.If i still had all my cool gear and all that easy money i would still be just another generic guitar player without soul or substance.now relfecting on my downward spiral to the oblivian of addiction and having lost everything i held dear is cathardic to me.starting over with nothing is humbling and good for art,yet i dont recomend suffering to find self worth.i wouldnt be as in touch with my feelings/art without it...i still want a edp

I think the more options you have the less creative you are. When I had just
a dearly loved Jamman I used it to death and created some really great music
with it. Now that I have a stereo pair of fully loaded EDPs I hardly find
myself using them. I used to create great tracks with just one simple
sampling keyboard, a Jamman and some FX... I ought to get rid of some stuff,
I guess 8-).

Like Brian Eno once said, it´s limitations that force you to be creative.
and like a friend of mine once said, make music with what you have, not with
what you´d like to have.

You sure have some friends who´d borrow you some equipment, even if it´s no
Chapman stick, no Warr TSG and no what-have-you 8-). A good musician could
even get something decently musical out of a comb 8-).
