How does he do it?

Any idea how this guy Dosh is putting effects onto just the drums if  
he's using an Akai Headrush pedal? http://www.anticon.com/dosh.mov  
(At ca. 1:35) I think it's a Boss delay pedal? Does the Headrush have  
a metronome like the LoopStation, or is it a DL-4 type trigger? I  
can't seeing him stomping anywhere. Also according to the video it  
seems like the Headrush has multiple undos. I can't find any of these  
functions on Headrush info pages.
