I once saw the Quicksilver Messenger Service perform in a lecture hall at the University of Pittsburgh. That was in their serious jamming days. I sat about two 'desks' back from the band and they were HOT! Also saw Genesis (w/Gabriel) a LONG time ago in a venue that doubled as an ice skating rink! Towards the end of the concert, the ice 'covering' was soaked through. Or, who can forget the double bill of the Iron Butterfly/Canned Heat where the concert was temporarily halted by the police because the word 'fuck' was used onstage?
