For empty rack spaces I think you should be thinking about products from:

Why stop with boring Roland synths and effects when you could have a:
3P-III Palindrometer
DD-301 Digilog Dynamicator
AP-302 Algorhythmic Prosecutor and/or a
Valvecaster 1960 (Dual Valve Teleknobic Preampulator)

Loading up your rack with this gear will save you a lot of back pain while
still impressing, well, _lots_ of folks! :-)
