Boomerang Bargain

I contacted Mike Nelson about the Blooperang and here's his reply:

    It's true, it's true. The price is $279 for Blooperang (Rang Plus 
with bug), power supply and shipping. If you buy a gig bag at the 
same time it's only $20.
    The bug is very specific and you must follow this exact sequence 
to encounter it. Press RECORD and record until the memory is full. 
That means no buttons can be pressed after the inital RECORD. When 
memory fills, all the green LED's will come on. At this point the 
unit must sit untouched for a while. Now when PLAY is pressed, you 
may have very loud distorted noise play.
    If your unit is in this condition, press RECORD then PLAY/STOP. 
The noisy loop is now gone.
    So, as you can see, it's a very odd thing to do with a Rang(TM) 
sampler and the bug won't be encountered under normal use.
