not sure if I'm right here, but depending on the loop mode (stutter,  
expert, loop, delay...) the feedback knob does different things

also, if you are using a pedal plugged into the feedback socket on  
the back panel, that might affect things

best let us know your exact hardware setup and some parameter  
settings (round mode, loop mode and insert mode before all) that you  
are using when the problem occurs
