just getting started with the unit but so far I am really pleased especially with the modifiers.

The basic amp sounds are far superior to my pod xt while I find the fx units a bit limited.

Way better than Amplitube.

I havent tried Nigel that runs off the UAD card??? but I can't see you going wrong with

GK2.

Highly recommended.

I can't help you with your MIDI question, unfortunately. But, since 
you own GR 2, I was curious how you liked it. I'm definitely 
interested in it myself. Amplitube 2 will be out by the end of the 
month, so I'm also considering it.

trying to control the looping unit in Native Instruments Guitar Rig 2 with
my Line 6 FBV shortboard but it seems
I have to hit the switches twice for a controller message to send.
What gives... anybody been through this or similar?
Any help would be great thanks in advance.
