if you look at the features radial is a lot more than a midi  
arpeggiator... does a "looper" have to catch live audio? i never  
thought so. perhaps a "live looper" or "real-time looper"? radial is  
a very versatile and creative piece of software for manipulating  
loops and sound clips in either a live or a studio situation. it  
lends itself to live improvisation. it's entire focus is on  
manipulating loops in real-time, which to me seems like a "looper".  
just my 2¢ of course ;)
