RE: single coil & hum (was EH2880 on video)



Another alternative would be stacked humbuckers, which maintain the narrow 
profile.

so are you attributing the hum to the guitars for sure, then? is the amp quiet(er) with HBs? if so, you might want to consider some sort of dummy pickup arrangement a la alembic.... just a thought.
