If you're concerned with old CD's going to waste, you should see what
happens to them in Asia (Southeast Asia and India, in particular). Over
there, they flip a CD reflective side out, then paste them all over the
backs of the "tuk-tuks" -- little motorized pedicabs, sort of like
souped-up golf carts that you use as taxis. This helps add rear reflectors
so that the tuk-tuk is more visible to normal automobiles.

Occasionally, you see somebody who goes a little overboard and pastes the
things all over the entire body of the tuk-tuk. This turns it into this
weird kind of psychedelic, rainbow, 70's-art-project vehicle.

If you're at all interested in recycling, you wouldn't believe how most
everything gets at least two or three different uses.

So, in summary, just send all your used CD's to Thailand. They'll use 'em.
