Looks like it has some limitiations in terms of number of VSTs you can run:

V-STACK - virtual VST-Rack
V-STACK is a VST instrument rack that can power up to 16 VST instruments, 
ideal either for live use on stage or extending your existing VST System 
Link network - without requiring an additional sequencer program. V-STACK 
cheaply and conveniently extends the power of Cubase and Nuendo systems by 
integrating the CPU power of another computer that processes VST 
additional 
instruments. As a standalone application, V-STACK is the ideal performance 
rack for VSTi's, providing a CPU efficient platform for integrating the 
power of VST instruments on stage.
