Re: OT: Electric Guitar - fix for static noise?

First, we must understand the nature of this problem.

This noise is caused by a buildup of charge in the pickuard material.

Static charge can be dissipated by proper shielding.

A lining of conductive material on the back of the pickguard will
dissipate this charge.
