No, but I sometimes practice looping in silence.

What I mean by that is imagining everything in my mind; melodies  
looped into chords, pitch changing looped chords, new melodies that  
go well with this new sound, etc etc. Quite often these mind games  
leads me into experimental realms where I really don't have a clue  
about what the things I'm doing would sound sound like IRL... and I  
need to turn on the gear and check it out. But the more you "practice  
in silence" the farther you push the borders of accurate imagination.
