RE: New "Virtual Repeater" Software Announced...



How does the varispeed/no pitch change sound with the Max/MSP looper?  I'm
usually disappointed but man the Repeater totally nailed that function.
Best real time independent pitch/tempo I've heard in a device that costs
$500.  Sure it got weird when you got far away from the original tempo, but
weird in such a nice way.  If the promised Repeater software looper can do
as good a job I might just ignore the Polaroid I have of the Electrix logo
where I wrote, "Don't believe his lies" on it.

But for now I'm not going to put my copy of Mobius up on ebay.  Behold the
internet!  All the fun of hearsay with the excitement of typing!

Hmmm...all things one can do in a max/msp looper. :)  I love the variable 
speed control, which I didn't see listed below. I love being able to 
create 
a loop and then step on my expression pedal to change the speed, both 
forward and backward.
