Re: My worst looping gig...

I was playing jazz tunes at an open mic with my jazz box going into a Boss RC-20 (this was way before I came up with the huge looping setup). I recorded in the background loop of the sensitive ballad "My Foolish Heart". Unfortunately, I had forgotten to make sure that the "Guide" track knob was turned down after carrying the pedal in my backpack. So when I hit the pedal again to play back the loop, a deafeningly loud drum beat came out.

SNARE!!! KICK!!! KICK !! KICK!! SNARE!!! KICK!!! KICK !! KICK!!

The audience thought it was pretty funny. I turned down the knob and continued. The guide track on the RC-20 is nothing but an annoyance! I never use it or even look at the LEDs. Now I check every time to make sure the knob is turned down.
