I'm tiresomely compelled to mention that with the normal caveats of it 
being lo-fi, idiosyncratic, unpredictable, and unstylish, a cassette 
four-track will give you four distinct loops, and most have four 
separate tape outs for each of its distinct loops on 
playback...stereo...nearly unlimited loop length...and cheap as hell.
