thanx for all the info, you guys out there.
after clicking and clicking for a day i hit my forhead and went DUH!
having mobius outside the bidule window solves half of my problem.
still keystrokes will only work with the mobius window being active.
most of my commands come from a selfmade 
joystick-controller-goes-midi-message-thingie, so it's no big deal to 
click 
into mobius onve in a while when i need it.
thanx per, for telling me the obvious...

Yes there are ways to make a window stay on top.  I'll add it
to the list :-)
