RE: notebook non-recommendation for audio applications



not sure how late i am, but in concerns to the acer laptops, i called about 6 months ago and they did not use TI chipsets in any computers anymore-

in my adventure to find a perfect laptop, i bought 2 dells and returned them both - for what its worth the business class model performed much better than the consumer lvl garbage...

i ended up wth a macbook pro running bootcamp.... which worked well since mobius is a very resource friendly program-
but from my experience, running windows progrms in bootcamp is noticably slower than an equivenlent machine running windows os

i now ditched the mac and built a micro atx PC with a touchscreen monitor - =D....farewell laptop loopers! ;o)
