I KNOW!!! That must be a quarter note! At least if "one step" is
interpreted as a semi tone. However, if interpreted as a whole tone
"Two Point Five Steps" will get you "The Devil's Interval", the
tritonus. So, in fact Two Point Five means Six Feet Under. ;-))   Does
this make sense....?
