Re: RIP Les Paul

Personal anecdote, 30 years ago I saved up some money so I could buy my first electric guitar. Went to the music store and they had two used guitars I could afford, one which looked really cool, all black and modern, and another which was a sunburst guitar with "Les Paul" on the headstock. I liked them both, but not knowing much about guitars couldn't decide which one. Finally decided to get the one that said "Les Paul" because I recognized that name. Still have it, about 10 years ago I estimated I had spent over 6000 hours playing it......Thanks Les, RIP

Recommended listening: "Chester and Lester" album, not sure if it's available on CD, Chet Atkins and Les Paul, I am pretty sure they just sat in a room and did single takes on a bunch of songs, awesome stuff.
