Re: Firewire interface recommendations

I had an AudioFire 8 for 3 years. Great machine, although the pres
aren't the best. The builtin DSP was amazing though. In fact, if you
like I have one that, because of my firewire card, has burnt out fw
ports. I called echo and they said it would cost around 100$ to fix.

I ended up buying the Saphire Pro 40 because it had more options and
better pres, but if you want, I'll sell or trade my AudioFire. If you
live in the states, I'd be cheaper for you to ship it and it might
cost less to get it repaired. If you want, its just sitting in my
studio right now.

But still, the UltraLite is a great portable solution.
