Yes that's right. The Novation is great as that kind of programming is easy, especially with the software editor.

not sure what you mean here. there's no feedback = 0 command, but once you have set up a continuous controller for feedback, then all you have to do is configure a button to send a value of zero for that cc number. if you create the button as a toggle, then you can toggle between whatever two feedback values you like
And there's the need for sophistication on the controller side as well I guess. I can teach the Looperlative to execute a sequence of commands in response to a simple controller message, but I need a controller that I can teach to send particular control values as the result of button presses.
(You can create Looperlative buttons to get to 100% feedback, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, and 30% by setting to 100% and then working down in steps of 10%.)
