Constant buzzing - can it be killed!

Hey kris if this has become a recent phenomena, it might be due to
using the new energy saving fluorescent light bulbs. I was getting ton
of extra noise until I realized they were the culprit and any room on
the same circuit as mine like the bathroom had to have the lights
replaced with standard incandescent bulbs. I still have some issues
with buzz and also with proximity to transformers in my room, example:
if I set my guitar to close to my furman power conditioner my guitar
buzzes. It may be that my power conditioner is old enough (+20 years)
now that some of its filter capacitors are getting old and noisy. The
real solution would be getting an isolation transformer for your
studio room, but they aren't cheap, some costing upwards of $1000
dollars or more and they tend to be pretty massive them selves. Try
changing the lights first, that may clear up your problem.
