Hoi!

I did a combination of live programming and live looping on my last "Reyn vs ..." concert:

I must say I'm very happy with my switch from EDP to Ableton. Together with my Gordius pedal it gives me so much more freedom and I can combine now all the features from Ableton right on the spot and in separate sessions.

If you open the session everything is ready to go. You can have all your sounds ready and features ready and triggered with MIDI maps and have it ready just in that song. No more hassle, double click and ready. And everything is in sync (after playing your first loop), like your delays and your programming, or if you want to add samples with a BPM later on. (I'm gonna try that on my next concert.)

And it's much more stable then the EPD. I must admit there are still issues with Ableton like latency. Not sure whether it is my Mackie Onyx Mixer, which I use as my soundcard, or if it's Ableton or even the amount of loopers I use in one session (8). But besides that it's heaven.

Cheers,

Reyn
