Yeah contact bounce - It's already raised it's ugly mug..
It ok though because you generally fret a string before plucking it which should give it time to settle.
Hammer-on's might take on a whole new dimention though hehe

That's a cool project.  I thought of doing it with a fretless neck and tiny switches.
I wonder if there will be 'contact bounce' with regard to the string slamming down on the frets?
