Re: Is this a good deal?

heh heh..

if that was a solution, I better just bring no gear and ALOT of empty cases...
Nope Im not particularly in the market for a lap steel,, but Id like one, and this seemed pretty cheap!!!

Remember that Im used to Norwegian prices, (apart for meat, which most Norwegians buy in Sweden... shhhh!!!)
For-ex ...last weekend, I paid for an Indian meal, 7 of us in my familly. the bill came to 1,750 krner... thats 294 dollars..

2 meals for one Gretch lap steel.. seems ok to me.. but have decided against.. for now...

According to the guy in this video it's not a good deal but not a
(very) bad one either.

But generally any NOK price would be pricey if compared to a USD price
tag. Here in Sweden we fear Norway for the high prices ;-)  Why don't
you check US prices online and shop for one while in the bay area?
Bring an empty case to take it a back home with you as your personal
tool (guessing Norway has the same high consumer gadget import taxes
as Sweden? )
