This looks cool Ricky. I need a 13 pin sound card though ideally, purely for convenience and portability. Unfortunately the stringport doesn't have windows drivers and from what I've been told, won't even run with generic asio4all drivers - how frustrating! Looks like I'll have to wait a few months :-(
Keep us posted with your crazy sounds though - are you on the Yahoo MIDI guitar group? I'm sure they's enjoy learning what you're about over there in Ireland.

Peace

Gareth

Yes, the hardware is PC compatible. Since I currently use a 13pin to jack converter into a large(ish) soundcard, I was hoping to reduce my gear footprint.
I'd like to check the noise/distortion figures though, (can't find them on their website)

Have fun and report back Ted

I'm pretty sure it's pc-compatible; the sw is in Max, the connection is usb. it would be too weird for it not to be

Gareth,

I don't know that it's PC compatible (though it might be, I don't know).

You should read up on that.

I received mine about a week ago but have been too busy with work and family to delve into it much.

I need fewer distraction right now.

I'll post about it when I can.

Best,

Ted

Have you ordered the stringport Ted? I'm curious about the interface as I'm thinking of using it on a PC.
