Re: best software strings

I played a gig with Oliver Wakeman (Rick's son) in Croydon, one time. Lovely chap.

M-tron doesn't sound like strings, it sounds like a Mellotron. But
THAT it does well ;-)

I have heard from guys that do symphony string orchestra mock-ups for
games and movies that LASS is "the best" now
http://www.audiobro.com/html/lass.html

In the past Miroslav Vitous library has been regarded "the best" by many:

A good hint right now is that Native Instrument is selling stuff for
half the list price. I don't know how long this deal will last, but
their Session Strings is also regarded very good by folks who do fake
string stuff in studios.
