SUPERIOR DRUMS for looping

Luis Angulo just sent me this video demoing the newest version of
EZ drummer software called Superior Drums

I have to say that I"m incredibly skeptical about drum emulation software.
I keep hearing programs that just don't do it for me.

Mind you,  I"m a snob because I've played dozens of different kits in 
dozens of studios
in hundreds of styles of musics in my career as a studio 
drummer/percussionist and producer.

But I have to say,  this demo just blew me away........do yourself a 
favor and listen to the whole
demo (you'll learn a lot about producing great drum sounds just from 
hearing this guy
give the demo which is, itself, worth the price (free) of admission.

Of course, one caveat is that one of the world's best studio drummers is 
playing the kits in
real time so the other half of this enchilada is programming, but
this is the most realistic assemblage of samples replete with phase 
coherent microphones in different
positions created by world class engineers in world class studios with 
world class microphones
and world class ambient environments.

I am incredibly impressed!     If I didn't know how to get stuff like 
this with my own equipment
tens of thousands of dollars worth of recording gear and world class 
drums and cymbals,  I'd buy
it in a heart beat.    I just might anyway!
