The Crossfade Loop Synth is one of my favorite plugins ever. It is a
realtime sample/playback unit that can run in a loop mode, sampling and
playing back simultaneously. What you play gets sampled, then a few seconds
later, you trigger these samples by the next notes that you play, ans so
forth - instant self-similarity !!
