Way OT: Michiyo Yagi, Modern Koto, in London this week

Through the wonders of facebook I've reconnected with a friend from
college whose wife is the most amazing koto player. Michiyo Yagi will
be in London this week and from what I understand, she'll play at
least one gig with Evan Parker.

I've been listening to this one, "Song of the Steppes" repeatedly for
the last hour or so. I think it is amazing, non traditional koto
music.

Just wonderful, beautiful stuff.

Still, I can't help but think her music cries out for a looper.
