Re: So Long Everybody

No 'Like' button on the list :) Daniel but I must say 'Like' to all expressed and Marc well you get 'automatic Likes' for just being the list rebel rouser :)

I have met Bob Amstadt who was kind enough to host me in his home when I needed lodging a few years ago at Y2K.  He's a sincere and kind soul as well as highly creative soul.  I'm sure this will all work out in the end...

I knew him.  Hero might be too much title for any mortal.  But, a good man he was.  Don't let the publishers needs to sell a billion books diminish this.

He once said--  Apple and All of Silicon Valley should become a gift to humanity.  He worked relentlessly toward this objective.

I am not lionizing him guys. He blew my eyebrows off more than once with his demanding demeanor. But I would take another blast from that fire thrower just sit with him once more.

Chinese workers that recently were blown up in the FoxConn factory, cleaning iPads.

For the record, not a price I condone for innovation.  And in fact, I would say that this has little to do with innovation and more to do with GREED.  "Silly human race-- your's is no disgrace."

I have only one response to "bad tastes" and  "itching for a fight"

I had the good fortune to know and work with some amazing leaders in Silicon Valley-- among them Steve Jobs during his last years at Apple.  He once said to me and others--  "do you anticipate that innovation comes with out high risk?"

And now, to order my LP-2 .

Cheers
