DEFINITELY get the side car!!! With the Side Car, you can assign the yellow bonus button on the Boomerang to Loop#4, and then you still have three bonus buttons left, along with all of the regular play/stop/erase buttons, etc., on the Side Car. It is worth every penny to spend the extra cash for the Side Car if you are a looping artist. It really opens up all of the possibilities that the Boomerang can do.

The only bad thing I can say is that with the Boomerang and Side Car, you have two really big pedals on the floor now. I decided to put mine on a pedalboard, get a Voodoo Labs Digital power supply, and a few other pedals, and now the looping gear is all in one place & connected. Check out the link:

Please sell me on the idea of the side car :D Got the rang III a month ago, still working it out, but obviously one annoying thing is that I have to decide which "effect" I want the two bonus buttons assigned to. Until now I've liked having one of them be erase, and the other loop 4 or reverse....but I'd like to have instant access to more than that without hitting the assign button. Anyway could you tell us a little about why we should get one, and more elaborative stuff of that kind?

Thanks :)

Never tried a Looperlative product. I use a Boomerang III & Side Car, which works great.

Has anyone tried the LP2? Does it work? The description and price look great, but I'm hesitant to take the plunge. One of the reasons is the beating that it is taking over on The Gear Page forums:

Most of you probably don't visit The Gear Page much, but I thought I would just give you guys a heads up. If any of you have tried the LP2 and find it to be a properly functioning looper, it may be nice to share your experiences over there. Because based on what I read over there, I don't think anyone will touch it.
