Hmm... I think if any of us were in a situation where...

- a record company had been selling two records we'd made and neither paying royalties nor providing accounting figures for 19 years (in this case the Summers/Fripp records), or

- a record company whose contract explicitly denied them download rights was repeatedly making our music available for download on iTunes without our consent, iTunes were taking the record company's word that it was theirs to make available and demanding additional proofs from us as the copyright holders, or

- a record company, with which we had a contract with terms that it became null and void if the record company was acquired, was subsequently acquired and kept our music as an asset to include in its sale value and then hired lawyers to deny they had actually been acquired even while the company that had acquired the original record company was itself in the process of being acquired

... I think we might end up feeling a bit prickly too !
