8:30 . D. Burke Mahoney . Scanning the shortwave dial for the
faintest of transmissions, D.Burke Mahoney creates compositions
that haunt and stimulate his listeners. Radio has become his
instrument of choice in creating richly textured and melodic
soundscapes that range from heavy and dense to sparse and
subtle. Mahoney's compositions encourage a wide variety of
interpretation. D. Burke Mahoney is a Toronto-based sound artist.

9:30 . QMT is a new project by Alan Bloor, James Bailey & Matthew
Poulakakis. The trio taps, rubs, scrapes and otherwise manipulates
instruments both home made & found, mostly made of metal, to
create improvised soundscapes. The results are often surprisingly
delicate and have been described as “eerie” and “oddly orchestral.”
All three are veterans of local experimental scenes and in addition
to their many solo and collaborative projects are all currently
members of improv ensemble Build To Suit.

10:30 . CAMERON/DAVISON . W.A.Davison is a multi-disciplinary
artist who has been producing various forms of experimental
art and music for over 30 years. As a composer, improvisor,
and instrument-builder Davison has performed solo (as Songs
of the New Erotics, Th W rbl r, M.Stactor, etc.), in his own
ensembles (Urban Refuse Group, Six Heads), and in various
collaborations (with members of CCMC, Nihilist Spasm Band,
AMM, MSBR, irr.app.(ext.), Nurse With Wound, and many
others). Allison Cameron performs improvised music and
creates sound environments using Casio SK sampling
keyboards/Casio saxophone/ukulele/banjo/Honeytone

box/cassette tapes/miscellaneous instruments & objects
amplified with a variety of contact mics/a variety of pedals
