What I do is to use the LG "Songs" to call up a bank and footpedal 
assignments
for each piece of gear.

Then put them all in a LG "Set List".

In a "Set List" it's possible to either tick each song for inclusion
in the display or not. 

So while all the banks (and 'songs')stay in the LG memory, it's possible 
just
to just scroll through the banks that are going to be useful in a 
performance.
(the other ones being hidden)
