Re: OT: guitar conversion.

Cool! Hope this axe turns out good when finished! Some day I'd like to set up a fretless baritone guitar, that scale length seems optimal for that. So far I have converted three regular electric guitars into fretless. One failed and had to go into the trash, one came out decent and the third is quite good. Since then I have bought a fretless guitar from a real luthier and that's so much better an instrument! Jim, will you keep us updated on this project? Looking forward to see a YT upload when you get the axe working :-)

What started as another 'fretted to fretless' of some of my low-if instruments has evolved to full rebuild and see what I come up with.  Some might be interested in the work which is midstream.  Documenting on my YouTube as I go.

3rd episode so far.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1765vCQuI0A&sns=em
