Opening up a headphone loop mix

Hello,

I've been long since forced to do all my looping via headphones and that was fine more or less until I got ambitious and wanted to use more than the guitar.  So now I'm in live with bass, drums, keys. guitar, and so on and the end result is that there is no room at all left in the mix when it hits my ears.  I really love playing in the open air but can't do that at home so anyone have any advice on how to get something like this to open up and breathe a little bit more (metaphorically speaking you know)?

I've tried EQ on the separate inputs with mixed success and panning is okay so now I need just a little something else.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Kevin
