RE: OT Beefheart Quote

Australian Magpies already sound a bit like Sonny Sharrock at ordinary speed going forward – will that do?

Midnight, after it’s rained, there will be upwards of a dozen just outside, it’s bliss

Captain Beefheart's Commandment of guitar playing #1

Listen to the birds

That's where all the music comes from. Birds know everything about how it should sound and where that sound should come from. And watch hummingbirds. They fly really fast, but a lot of times they aren't going anywhere.

This from Teddy's sig file reminded me to ask, has anyone listened to slowed down birdsong much?  Its amazing, they start to sound like Hnedrix solo's at a point, all backwards and crazy good.  The Good Captain was on to something there
