With that many pieces on stage, you'll probably have lots of problems hearing yourself through the monitors alone. With a private monitor, you can hear yourself clearly, while still getting the advantages of going directly to the board. Forget using a guitar amp. Use a small PA system of your own, something accurate. Guitar amps will just muck up your monitor sound. -dave By "beauty," I mean that which seems complete.
