Can you give me more info on the pitch-to-voltage converter you use? Is it a commercial product or custom made. I'd love to have something like that to trigger the SEM from my bass. I've tried a few pitch to MIDI converters with not a l;ot of success. >P.S. Thank you for turning me on to the Vortex, I have ordered one which >shall be in my >rack tomorrow night. You will love it. It's one of those boxes that gets deeper every time I try to figure it out. It produces sounds that I've never heard from any other FX box in 20 years of messing with this stuff. ________________________________________________________ Dave Trenkel : improv@peak.org : www.peak.org/~improv/ "...there will come a day when you won't have to use gasoline. You'd simply take a cassette and put it in your car, let it run. You'd have to have the proper type of music. Like you take two sticks, put 'em together, make fire. You take some notes and rub 'em together - dum, dum, dum, dum - fire, cosmic fire." -Sun Ra ________________________________________________________
