no, this polyphonic ebow thang wasn't my idea, at all; i just happened to 
be
in the right place @ the right time, and, as it happened, i was already
frustrated by a coupla years worth of fruitless phone conversations 
w/michael

re: what i said in that article in '87:
i think i'd better find & read that piece, ta see what the hell i was 
talking
about! i think i have a clue, though, and i think it involved looping.
