This beauty, circa 1954, still works and I have easily retro-fitted its cable to a simm socket. You wouldn't beleive it but to hear it, but the 44 millisecond access time actually works well to provide just the right high frequency roll-off in the digital domain to supress quantization and nyquist noise. The power supply is a bitch, though. I've been searching surplus dealers and swap-meets to find more of these to increase my storage. - Floyd
